Creators will now be able to link their Shopify stores with their YouTube channels for full access to live shopping tools and other retail features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is huge news for YouTubers who want to sell branded products to their fan base and beyond. <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.youtube\/news-and-events\/youtube-shopify-integration-merch-shopping\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">YouTube confirmed today<\/a> that creators who link to Shopify can display products via their channel, during live streams, and in their end cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why is the new retail feature so exciting for creators?<\/strong> Viewers can purchase directly on YouTube rather than visiting an external link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creators will be able to sync their inventory numbers with Shopify in real-time, so consumers will be able to see what&#8217;s in stock. For creators based in the U.S., the platform is opening up the option for on-site checkout sales. This way, viewers won&#8217;t have to leave YouTube to make a purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creators will now also be able to directly tag their products during live streams. This live shopping feature could help <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tubebuddy.com\/blog\/youtube-merch-4-steps-to-a-successful-merch-strategy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">boost merch sales<\/a> by showcasing products to a captive and engaged audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-connect-your-youtube-channel-to-shopify\"><strong>How To Connect Your YouTube Channel To Shopify<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To sell your products on YouTube, start by connecting your Shopify store to YouTube, just follow the instructions below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sign in to YouTube Studio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Monetization from the left-hand menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Shopping<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Connect Store<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Shopify<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Continue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Add App to add your Google channel to Shopify<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-which-creators-are-eligible-to-sell-merchandise\"><strong>Which Creators are Eligible to Sell Merchandise?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for access to YouTube\u2019s shopping tools, channels must meet specific minimum requirements.
